An Unforgettable Prophetic Experience on Day One of The Prophetic College

Prophetic words were filled throughout the sanctuary at Zoe Ministries for The Prophetic College last week on Wednesday, May 28th and Thursday, May 29th. Led by Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan and Bishop George Bloomer, this event provided an empowering, educational, fulfilling, and mind-blowing experience. We will focus on Day One of The Prophetic College.

 

Tornados shows up in the atmosphere because the prophets are gathering.” – Archbishop E. Bernard Jordan

 

On day one of The Prophetic College, the word of the day that kept showing up in the discussions was “exile”. When attendees were asked to sit in every other chair that can be interpreted as a form of exile. When Bishop Bloomer and Archbishop Jordan discussed ministry in the Bronx is different from any other boroughs that can be interpreted as a form of exile. Then, the most unexpected prophetic moment of the day was when a young woman told her story about women in the church shunning her when a scandal broke out between her and the Bishop at her local church. All of these moments were some form of exile and they were addressed right at The Prophetic College.

 

It’s the job of the potter to hold the clay until it gets into its organic posture. God Almighty has placed inside the clay its form inside. The job of the potter is to make sure he holds it there so that what God placed in the vessel it becomes.” – Bishop George Bloomer

 

During Day one of the event, two guest speakers, Bishop Pat McKinstry, and Dr. Taketa Williams, used their prophetic gifts to give powerful words.

 

Bishop Pat McKinstry shared that it’s time for prophets to get their prayer life right and to do their homework. She stated,

 

“You can stop a leakage that’s in the body of Christ. You’ve been called to pray. You can’t be a prophet if you don’t have a prayer life. To be a mouth of God your ear needs to be close to God. The first thing I want you to do is to get your homework done. Get in your prayer closet.”

 

Dr. Taketa Williams shared that when there’s a breaking forth there’s a breakthrough. She stated,

 

“I heard the spirit of God, even concerning leaders that have been behind the shadows and coming about with pain, coming about with stress, I hear the spirit of the Lord say now is the time that you take it and use that pain and gather it up.”

 

After the lunch break, there were two panels that both focused on prophetic ministry.

 

The first panel consisted of panelists Pastor Vondrea Lewis, Bishop Edward Robinson III, Bishop Kevin Long, Bishop Kenneth Pearmon, and Prophetess LaTonya Powers. Moderated by Prophet Luther McKinstry. The panel focused on having a prophetic calling while being a pastor and evangelist. Some of the panelists agreed that you must be prophetic in order to be a pastor or evangelist.

 

The second panel consisted of panelists Pastor Debra Jordan, Prophetess Jacqueline Gates, Pastor Mascareen Cohen, Bishop Michele White, Prophetess LaTonya Powers, and Patricia Whiley. Moderated by Pastor Audrey Smart. The panel discussed women in the prophetic but then it ended with a twist.

 

One of the attendees, Andrea Garrison shared her story of a Bishop at her local church manipulating her and there were no women in her ministry who protected her and supported her throughout the process. However, she was embraced by the women at The Prophetic College and they gave her the covering she deserved.

The overall experience of Day One of The Prophetic College was an unforgettable one and has made an impact on many lives.
